After all in my 20 percent project I think i did good. But maybe i could of done better because the project didn't come out the way my group and i planned it. We were happy throughout our project because we thought it was really going to come out the way we planned it. But unfortunately it didn't come out that way even though we tried our best to be able to give the patients the bracelets we knew that would of put a smile on their face. In my presentation i think i did good. Even though we weren't able to say that our project was as successful as we thought it would be. We still presented what we did throughout our 20 percent which wasn't much but we really tried. My group and i each talked about one thing we did we all had our own slide to talk about. I talked about the one that says, "What we thought was going to happen". There was actually a few things to talk about because we thought of so many things to do if we were allowed to actually give the bracelets to the patients. We just ended up sharing the bracelets with the class.

Ever since we went to Choc the last day on a Friday we weren't able to get a reach from anyone. This lady named Amber had to email us or give us a call back but we never got anything from her. So now we just decided that were going to give them to the Kindergarten kids at Gauer Elementary. Gauer Elementary is my old school. I still know most of my teachers their. Even my kindergarten teacher hopefully she is still there it would be nice to stop by and say to her. And also give her students the bracelets we had made for the patients at Choc Hospital. It sucks that our projected isn't going to end up the way we had planned. I was really hoping that we would be able to give it to the patients because i am sure they would appreciate it a lot and they will feel so much love. But there isn't anything else we can do and we don't want the bracelets to go to waste. So we will just go and give it to the kindergarten kids.

This week we are starting on our power point presentation. We are making our presentation colorful because those are the colors from Choc well it's main color is blue but it also has different kind of colors because of the children. Something we don't know is if our project will turn out successful because we still don't know if we will be able to give the bracelets to the patients. We went last Friday to Choc after school and we had to meet with a Choc supervisor named Amber. But we didn't get to talk to her because she was in an event. We waited for her for about an hour but we didn't get call from her after that time. We also gave her a call while we were there but we still didn't get a call. So we really have no clue if we will give it to them. I was really hoping we will be able to turn them in to them but I'm thinking we won't be able to. If we don't give them the bracelets i don't know how we will give them to.

Alex has been calling the Public Relations they've answered him but they told him they were going to give him a call back and they haven't. The reason he called was to find out if we can give the patients the bracelets or if we can't be around them well them were going to have to mail them. I really wish we would be able to give it to them. But we have no clue yet because they never gave Alex a call back. He called three times after that but they didn't pick up on him. So tomorrow after school were all going to go to Choc after school to try and talk to the supervisor of the Cancer Department. Hopefully he/she is a nice person and that will let us give it to them. Because the project presentation is coming up soon and we'll have to say if we were able to give it to them or what we did with them.

This week I haven't done any bracelets. I haven't had time to do any bracelets. But I don't worry about not getting them done because I don't need a lot more. Just a few more won't take a long time because I can do up to about seven a day. I only switched up the colors of the bracelets on a few. One of the bracelets have a heart on it. I wasn't able to do it on all the bracelets. But there wil be one lucky kid they will get it. I was debating on whether or not add that bracelet to the bracelets that will be donated to the patients because i feel like they will all want it. Or maybe ask why we didn't add a heart to all the bracelets. But i hope and think they will like which ever bracelet they get. I think the patients are very friendly with each other and will be friendly with my group and i too.

I didn't know how to do the rainbow loom bracelets. Even though there are different kind of patterns of bracelets to do I didn't even know to do the simplest pattern there is to do. The simple pattern bracelets go by two rubber bands. That isn't the one I'm doing. The pattern I am doing the called the fish bracelet. This bracelet goes by three rubber bands. I like how the fish bracelets look. Since Genesis is now in our group our parts got smaller so now we each have to do thirty three each. I am almost done I just need about 13 more. I do about three to five a day because then my fingers start hurting. There are also different kind of rubbers. Some rubber bands are more thicker than other ones. That's another reason why my fingers start hurting because some rubber bands don't stretch as much as others. The bracelets are looking very nice I like them. My favorite is the blue and white one. Plus it also glows in the dark. But only the blue ones do that because they are a different type of rubber bands which are more expensive so we didn't get pink ones that glow in the dark.

We will be dividing the Rainbow Loom Bracelets into four parts now. Alex will be joining our group. Therefore our parts will be smaller. We still aren't sure about him joining our group though we have to wait for a response from Mr. Lee. Hopefully he approves if Alex joining our group so he can help out do the bracelets. Because we don't want to rush through the bracelets because we wan't to make them look nice. Having Alex in our group would be really helpful because their is a lot of bracelets to get done. There are different designs we can do for the bracelet. For example if we want to do it different for girls we can but we will be doing all the same boy and girls.

Last Friday, Irene, Vanessa and I went to Michaels in Buena Park to look at the different types of bracelets we could do. We really didn't get interested in any of the beads they have. Therefore I think we will just be doing more of the Rainbow Loom Bracelets. It is more difficult to find the crystal kind of beads. The crystal type of bracelets were going to be only for girls but since its hard to get more crystal beads we think we'll just be doing more Rainbow Loom Bracelets. The good thing about the Loom bracelets is that their both for boys and girls. We can just switch up the colors for bracelets. Their can be as many colors as we want on the Loom bracelets. The negative thing about them is that they take more time to do then the other type of bracelets. We don't mind what kind we do as long as the Choc patients like them.

During the five weeks that we didn't blog, Irene, Vanessa and I got together. We went shopping for the materials at Michael's in Buena Park. It was quite fun looking for the materials because their was so much to choose from. Miss. Ruger just gave us an idea of a different type of bracelets. We got interested in those for the guy bracelets. Because the other type of material we got for the bracelets look like those bracelets are more for girls, so we decided that we are going to the the Rainbow Loom Bracelets for the boys. Theirs so many types of colors to choose from. But I think for the boys the color we will be doing is blue and white. We don't want to put depressing colors on the bracelets not even for the other type of bracelets. So this weekend we will go shopping for the materials we need for the boy bracelets. The boy bracelets will take much longer to make than the girl bracelets.

This is the 8th week on working on this 20% project but my group and I haven't done a lot. We just have ideas but we haven't done any actual work. For example we haven't done at least one bracelet so we were thinking of changing our whole project. But then we think that everything will have to be switched around. On Friday Irene and I were on the phone discussing what we should do. My choice was to keep the project we are doing. She was a bit undecided but then she also said she wants to keep on working on the Choc project. Vanessa agreed with us. Which was nice because if one of us would of disagreed it would make it difficult. We now have planned to meet up during winter break to go to Michaels, maybe even Choc so that we can find out if we will be mailing them or going to Choc to give them out. Hopefully they will let us give it to them because that will be more nice and fun to do.

On the week before we went on Thanksgiving, that Thursday my group and I presented our power point presentation. Mr. Lee wasn't happy about our project so far. He wants us doing more on our project because we don't have a lot done. We were just not doing more because we did not know if Choc will let us give the bracelets to the children because of the materials we will use. We had planned to go to Choc to ask if there is special materials they want us to use. But we haven't gone because we haven't had time but I think we will just be starting the bracelets with the materials we think its best. I think I will be doing some research on the best materials we can use for the bracelets. I really don't think a certain material can be very harmful to them. But it can also be the parents that won't allow us to give it to them. We will try our best on the bracelets because we think it will be very nice.

Post 6 20% project
Today we are going to visit Choc as a group. Irene is going to be able to make it today so that is why we chose this day. We want to get over if whether there going to let us give them the bracelets. After that if they say they will let us then we will go to Michaels to see the cost of the supplies for the bracelets. This is going to be mine and Vanessa's second time visiting Choc Hospital. But its going to be Irene's first time going. I'm excited to go all together. The first gather up will be at Irene's house. So today we are going to gather up after school and head to Choc. We hope to be back on time to get homework done. We are also hoping to get started on the bracelets. The bracelets are going to be fun I can tell because we all get along very well.

Post 5, 20% project
Today is the fifth week that I've been working on my 20% project. My group and I have thought of making shirts so that when we go to Choc hospital we will wear them and show our love for the patients there. I think it will show more of our support to them. We are looking for a very nice logo for the shirts. But my group and I are getting worried that they won't let us give the patients the bracelets because they can think that it can harm them. Hopefully they let us do it though because we are very excited to get through this project. Therefore Vanessa, Irene, and I are going to go to Choc again to ask them, just so we can make sure about it. Other than that we are off good. Another thing we have been working on is the presentation we are going to do for the class about the 20% project. My group and I are going up first because that was Mr. Lees' chose.

Post 4 Choc Hospital 20% project
Two weeks ago Vanessa and I went to Choc Hospital to ask how many Cancer patients there is. Irene is still in our group but she just couldn't go with us to ask. She had a family problem going on at home. So Vanessa and I went together. We went to the second floor and we saw three secretaries, of course we tried to look for the nice one. We went to the one alone and she was a really sweet lady and gave us the information we needed. We talked to her about what were doing and then we asked our main question we had which was if we may know how many cancer patients there is. She told us there is 156 Cancer patients. We thanked her for letting us know. Then we were already leaving and the security stopped us and asked us why we were there and we told him, and he said that she wasn't suppose to tell us because it is private information. So we apologized to him and he told us it was okay but to not let anyone know besides him know why we went because they can get in trouble. Then we left out of the hospital and starting thinking how many bracelets were gonna be doing each and were going to be doing about 30 bracelets each.

Post 3, Choc 20% Project
This Friday we are going to visit Choc Hospital to ask how many patients are there. That way it would give us an idea of how many bracelets we will be doing. We just got done making our video that Mr. Lee is making everyone doing. In the video we had to say our names everyone that is in our group and then one person in our group has to explain what our 20% project is on. It actually wasn't that bad like i thought it would be. I feel good about having it done already that way we won't worry about doing it some other day or all last minute. Getting more and more steps done gets me even more excited than I already am. I know visting Choc is going to move a big step out of the way. That is what is stoping us from doing the bracelets because we have to know how many patients are there right now. My group and I will give Choc Hospital our email addresses so incase their is an update about the patients there.

Post 2, 20% project. Choc Hospital
Today October 2, 2013 Irene, Vanessa, and I decided that we are only going to be making bracelets for the cancer patients at Choc Hospital. We are sorry to only be making them to the cancer patients, but making them to every single patient will just be too much and probably wouldn't have time because we have other school work to do. We still haven't scheduled the day to go to Choc but we are trying to do that as soon as possible. We don't want to have to be doing that all last minute. Then we would have to be in a rush to do all of that. We decided to go visit Choc through the week. This Friday we will find out the cost of the supplies that will be needed. We are going to shop for the supplies at Michael's. We are pretty excited to experience something we haven't done a project like this or even being something outside of school like this.
